Sorry it's been so long.

Heyaa Guys!

I haven't written an entry in a long time because I have been sooo busy. I've been having mid-terms and assignments due for the past 4 weeks straight, I haven't had a break!

I'm counting down the days until I get to come home. I'm so tired...and still hungry.

You appreciate home so much more once you've been away from it for a long amount of time.

Anna Duncan came down this past weekend and paid me a visit. We had lots of fun! I gave her a tour of the Dalhousie Campus and we went shopping in downtown Halifax on Saturday afternoon and ordered a lot of pizza. It was nice to have a bit of IACT come up here. I miss rehearsing with you and teaching you guys so much! I knew when I left that I would miss it but I had no idea just how much I would.

I will be paying the IACT studios a long over due visit on Sunday, November 23rd to sit in on a Snow Queen rehearsal. I cannot wait to see what you guys have been working so hard on. I have heard a lot of amazing things about it, so the pressure is on!! Haha.

My acting class is starting to get a little bit more interesting now. The last class we had we were told to go to a public place somewhere on the campus and pick a person to observe. We had a half an hour to sit and watch them and take notes about how they moved, how they talked. We had to give our person a name and come up with a life story for them just by looking at they way they acted in public.

I named my lady Roxanne. She wore ALOT of eye make up, had dyed red hair, and a mullet. She hunched over really bad when she walked and talked with a really raspy voice.

After the half hour was up we had to go back to our studio and walk around and act like our person only really exaggerated. Then my acting teacher (who has acted with Bette Midler AND the actress who play Professor McGonnagall in the Harry Potter movies!!!) asked our characters questions and we had to improv the answers.

I was really interesting to sit and observe someone very carefully (while trying not to be creepy ) You really start to notice really strange habits people have.

Next time your in public and have nothing else to do, I recommend you sit and watch someone. It will really help with your character building skills if you are very observent!

That's all for now!

Love,

Robin

I had to change the formatting! That bold blue text was totally clashing with the rest of my beautiful site!

Say hi to Jure for me.
