THE LATEST FROM IACT...

Garden Salad, Fruit Salad, Chicken Salad, Egg Salad.

So here is the straight up deal IACTers... I am sooo hungry.

And not just a little bit hungry, I'm like All-I-Have-Eaten-In-Six-Weeks-Is-Salad-Because-The-Residence-Food-Sucks kind of hungry.

That's pretty hungry.

Anywhooo, I just needed to get that off of my chest.

Let's get down to business.

Today in my lecture for theatre I learned something that many of you will find veryyyy interesting. We had a professional set designer come in today and talk to our class about what makes a good set. And do you know what she said..... "the best sets in the world are small sets that are used during the show"

She also said she hated designing sets that are made just to look big and fancy, she hates watching her sets go un-used.

Sooo. For anyone who as ever doubted Kate's choices of sets because they were just blocks, or just lights, there you go. Kate knows whats up.

Congrats to the cast of the Snow Queen for finding out their roles tonight, and ALSO congrats to Becca for getting cast as Miss Hannigan, (my all time dream role!) in Saint Mac's production of Annie! I'm soo jealous, but in a very proud way!

I miss you all SO much it hurts!

Leave lots of comments, I like to hear from you guys!!

Love,

Robin

wait a minute...was there ever any question about my set designs? IACT has good actors. We don't need to hide them behind big sets.
